Wood and Stone | Apartment
Design: Natalia Prokopenko
Visualisation: Ksenia Serebrennikova
Area: 113 m2
Location: Sydney, Australia

The apartment was designed with a young couple in mind, passionate about rock climbing and hiking. To them, their home serves as an escape from the bustling city, a tranquil oasis. The incorporation of abundant natural materials like wood, stone, leather, and natural textiles underscores their aspiration to connect with nature.

One of the primary considerations in crafting the apartment's design centered around flexibility and simplicity. For instance, the lighting fixture above the dining table has been ingeniously designed for effortless detachment from the track, providing residents the freedom to reconfigure their living room floorplan. Simplicity is manifested through clean white walls and a deliberate absence of wall decorations, allowing the mountain-effect accent walls to take center stage.
