Area: 400 m2
Location: Ekaterinburg, Russia

Initially, 400m2 were allocated for the Bistro zone, a space that was unprecedented in Russia. Over time, the Bistro zone transcended its primary function and evolved into a sprawling social area. As a member of a large team, my role involved contributing to the creation of layouts, defining color schemes and stylistic concepts, developing structures like dividers, beverage islands, seating benches, grid ceiling solutions, lighting arrangements, seating niches, and selecting finishing materials for products.

Overall, the space came alive and embraced a contemporary vibe, blending Swedish simplicity with elements of pop art. You can find detailed story about Ikea Bistro in the Russian publishing house, 'The Village.' An article featuring this space was published, with interviews conducted with members of our team, including myself. You can read the article here: link.
